COMPLETION OF “CERTIFICATES OF LIFE” FOR PENSIONERS
All Zimbabwean pensioners in South Africa, who are currently receiving monthly pensions from the Government’s Pension Office, must report to the Embassy in Pretoria or the Consulate in Johannesburg or the Consulate in Cape Town to complete “Certificates of Life” forms.
To be successfully registered, the Pensioners must come in person and bring the following:
An original National Identity Card or a valid passport, as well as a copy of the same.
One current passport size photograph.
Provide their current pension numbers.
Supply their current bank details.
Supply current contact details (telephone and email) and home addresses.
The Pensioners shall be fingerprinted at the Offices mentioned above.
The Embassy in Pretoria will assist the Pensioners from Monday to Friday from 0830hrs to 1230hrs.
The Consulate in Johannesburg will assist the Pensioners on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (EXCEPT WEDNESDAYS) from 0830hrs to 1230hrs.
The Consulate in Cape Town will assist the Pensioners from Monday to Friday from 0830hrs to 1230hrs.
A cash payment of R150 will be charged to cover the authentication of documents and operational costs.
